I can't believe how fast 3 years has gone by! We are so happy to have our "Dagey" in our family. He is a total blast and so funny! My favorite things about him right now is how excited he gets about everything right now, he is a ball of energy. His famous sayings: "the name's Dage", "Don't talking about!", "You want to go to timeout? Huh?", "Fioir Dage!", and so many more, I can't even pu them all down! We love him like crazy, and can't wait for the years to come!

Graham's 1st birthday
1 really? Seriously, I can't believe we have only had this little man for 1 year! He is such an angel biscuit! He is such a perfect mix of his brothers, a busy body like Gage but super sweet like Gavin. He has the best smiley eyes and the squishiest, buttery, chubby tummy. He was our earliest to cut teeth at 7 months and earliest to walk at 13 months. He can say uh-oh, thank you, apple juice, all done, dada, mama, Todd, and Zach. Graham is Gage's best litttle buddy and they are always getting into trouble toether. So in love with our Danger boy! Happy birthday!

A few Sundays ago we had a scary miracle happen at our house. I was next door preparing for a camp meeting and Brent was here with our 3 boys getting them ready to eat dinner. He left Gavin (7) to keep an eye on Graham (7months) downstairs in our kitchen while he went up to get our 2 year old. What I heard from next door sounded like a car crash and then I heard my baby crying so I dropped everything and ran over. This is what I saw.

Our 60+ lb pot rack had randomly fall from the ceiling. Notice the blue bumbo? That is where Graham was sitting.

He earned his middle name that day. We figured he has a guardian angel. There is no other way he could have escaped sitting directly beneath that rack and 15 heavy stainless steel pots that went flying through the kitchen. I have got several pans that got dents and one of my big heavy duty mixing bowls was reduced to 20 pieces, but we still have a Graham Danger with only 2 little bumps. Lesson learned, never name your kid Graham!

What can I say about Gavin: At least 10 things!!
1} We are so glad he is our oldest! He has never once hit or pushed Gage who torments him constantly. He always talks so sweet to both his brothers. And he loves to make them laugh
2} He is a great student, works hard at school to get good grades. His teacher Mrs. Fredette loves him!
3} He is such a good helper ALWAYS! He aims to please and does his best.
4} He makes us laugh. He makes up jokes and the have no punch lines. Still learning. :0
5} He is a fact collector. He loves watching anything National Geographic or reading books about animals or places, then he tells us ALL about it.
6} Huge imagination. He will describe one scenario in detail for about 10 minutes and then go off on another tangent for 20 minutes, all from his own mind. I guess that makes him a talker too.
7} He always compliments when he notices something different
8} He is a good friend.
9} He LOVES to swim. He is such a fish, loves the water and wants to be in it all the time.
10} He has a tender heart. Always has. It can make him emotional and it can make him irrational, but it makes him my son. He has always had a sweetness and gentleness. And I am beyond happy he surprised us and made us parents 7 years ago!

I know this pic is on my sidebar too, but it is too small. You don't get the true effect of Gage in that small pic. This kid has got a larger than life personality and voice, with a good dose of mischievous. And I LOVE this photo cause you can see it if you look close. He is gets excited about anything. And freaks out at nothing. You know where he is in the house by his constant squeals of joy or despair and this boy is so LOUD. What a roller coaster! Gage is wearing mismatched, over sized shoes, always. If I am napping, I will wake to him softly touching my face and giving kisses. He beats on his big brother, loves on his little brother. He just started climbing the pool table, now he can get his wagon up there with him too? How? Leaves random things from the fridge all over the house. He is such a joy when he is happy and such a sausage when he is not. Not sure how I feel about this one turning 2. Love him to bits though. With him, I want to forget house work and play all day... and then I want to cuddle up and have a very long nap!

Not sure why my boys get so HUGE so fast, but it is insane. This kid has got to weigh at least 16 lbs and he is barely coming on 3 months! He is a sweet, gooey tub of love! I could not ask for a better baby! He falls asleep at 8,does not want to be held and wakes at 6 to eat and then goes back to sleep until 8:30. And the rest of the day he just smiles at the ceiling fan. Maybe he is intimidated by his middle name?

Yes, today I turned 30!?! I had a great weekend with Brent, he took me to the Roller Derby!! If you have never gone, GO! We had a blast, we were laughing are heads off at all the hefty girls in tu tu's beating each other down. I loved it, so much better than a movie! He gets bonus points for creativity! Love him!

I guess I never really understood what dirty thirties might have meant until I woke up this morning to Gage who has had a stomach bug the last few days and I will spare you the details, but his stomach bug hit with a vengeance this morning! I thought this is what dirty thirties will mean for me with expecting my 3rd baby, especially if this is another boy!! 3 loads of laundry and 2 baths later, we were all good. Is this what it all means? Thanks all for the bday wishes!

Lately when we take Gage out with my family or anywhere, they all just look at him and laugh or smile and comment on how fat he is. He is 18 lbs! He is a chunk and loves to be kissed and cuddled, it is the best. A woman came up to me and told me that he was so cute and she just wanted to bite him... but I said no.

We blessed Gage this last Sunday. Brent's dad and his wife came down for a couple days to be here for it, it was so nice to see them and they definitely enjoyed our 70 degree weather! It was a beautiful blessing for a beautiful baby, Brent did a wonderful job. Gage is so chunky we could not find him a traditional blessing outfit that would fit, so we settled on making him look like a deacon! He and Gavin as so cute, I feel so lucky to have them!

New cousin EZ-E (Ezra, Alyssa's baby) born Jan 8, exactly 5 weeks after Gage and look how much bigger he is!

Here are some recent pictures of our chubba lubba baby boy! At his one month check up (really 6 weeks cause I procrastinated) he was 14 lbs! He has put on a pound a week since he was born. He is so cute a squishy and absolutely loves to be cuddled and kissed. Gavin tells me all day long all the things he likes about him. If I could get some sleep I would be in heaven!

Gage Cameron Davis born December 4, 2008 at 4:10 pm 9lbs 8 oz, 23 inches long. Meet our sweet boy! He is so cuddly and good natured. He looks just like his big brother did, but cries much louder and eats a lot more. We had such a beautiful experience getting him here. I decided to do this one natural in the hospital, we in for such a surprise when he was this big! Brent was able to be WAY more involved and I can't tell you how amazing and patient he was. I never thought I could possibly love him more, he made the whole experience what I wanted it to be. Between Brent, my wonderful mom and the amazing nurse, it is one of the most humbling and truly beautiful experiences I have ever had the honor of being apart of. It was hard to say I would do it again right after it happened, but I have totally seen the benefits and I have to say it is way better than I expected. I would do it all over again tomorrow for Gage, I would be nervous, but I would do it. We are ecstatic and completely in love with him! Gavin was a little cautious around him at first, he was scared he as going to hurt him or make him cry so he did not want to touch him. But now that we are home, he is constantly kissing him and wanting to be near him. He asks a lot of questions and wants to know everything that Gage likes and if it is the same as the stuff he likes. Gavin is so gentle and reminds me all the time how soft I need to be. Life for me is so ideal right now, I feel so much gratitude and love.

We lucked out and got some tickets from my generous brother to a Broncos game, thanks so much Todd! It was so much FUN!! I was so glad it was an indoor stadium with air conditioning.
Brent was so adorable! It was like watching a kid at Christmas. He has been a fan since he was little, but this was his first live game. I surprised him and got him some Broncos apparel and we went to a nice dinner, so it made for one awesome night. Gage (the fetus) loved it, I think. It was so loud in there, he was getting into it. I think we have another Broncos fan!

The Salon!! It is getting closer and closer! We are still managing to find things to hold us up, with the help of the developers and city inspection personnel. But we got all of our equipment delivered and got some treatments on the walls, and our receptionist desk in. SO COOL! I can't wait! Neither can Gage so we better hurry!

So I have melted into my routine and being busy and have not updated my blog. Here are a few things that have been going on: Gavin started school and is loving it! I am always asking him a hundred questions about what he did and what he likes and who his friends are, but he just says "I dunno." Now he just thinks it is funny cause I get all crazy when he does that. He is so so cute! What a sweet kid! There have been a few mornings where I was sick and let him sleep in until 15 minutes before school starts and he just gets right up and gets ready, no problem.

I have hit this major nesting period in my pregnancy and I am loving it. I have so much energy and can still bend a little bit to clean things up, I have been getting so much done. The only problem is that I have been focusing so much on cleaning and organizing that I forgot that Gavin starts preschool tomorrow!! I have so much to do! I have not even helped him get that excited about it, so i hope he does not hate me tomorrow when I just drop him off! I realize every day how big he is getting and he is so independent. I have to soak in the fact that this pregnancy has gone so fast the last almost 6 months, but so has his life, next year he will be in KINDERGARTEN! It is a little sad to think in about 3 months he will no longer be our only child and our only concern. He is such a good boy! I hope the next one will follow in his foot steps. He is constantly kissing my tummy and telling him secrets, I have to take little pictures with my heart cause it will be so different so soon! We are so excited though, I need a little cuddly baby again! Is it me or is it raining babies?! There are 3 girls in my ward all due the same week and then I looked at the list for other pregnancies and there is 15! Yikes! They must be busy up there! Everyone I know is pregnant or just barely had a baby, so if you are not, think about it!

Family reunions are like a HUGE deal in my family, not like we don't get enough of each other every week. We have to make it an organized event somewhere cool. We went to Julian, CA, a cute little mountain town with all the antique shops and bed & breakfast's on every corner. I wish we could have got a picture of the A-frame cabins we stayed in, they looked exactly like the ones on Friday the 13th! Minus the creepy factor and Brent's night with the ants, we had a really good time, thanks Kay! So nice to get out of the heat! Plus look at how cute Gavin's smile is, that is true happiness!

THE REVEALATION

So we got our ultrasound and found out that we are having another BOY!! We are ecstatic and I am so glad I saved all of Gavin's stuff. I guess I get no break on the testosterone! That is good cause I have always loved BOYS! The biggest surprise, I have not gained a pound since my pre-pregnancy weight! I guess I am glad now that I was so sick for so long, I lost a a good 10 lbs!

It was brought to my attention that my blog needs to be updated, I had to protest because there is nothing very exciting going on. I am still pregnant and hopefully past the "scary" first few months. I am feeling less sick, but still tired. And I am starting to not fit into my regular clothes. So that is fun!

Update on the salon, we are staining the floors this week and the getting the paint finished up, I will have to post some pics. It is really looking good, but I am not holding my breath for our open date, it is 2 years late as it is. Once we have some employees, I will write more.

Some of you have already seen this picture, about 7 months ago, sorry about the repeat. Anyhow, yes, this is a bun in the oven! We are locking the door on this one! We are so excited and I am feeling sicker than ever (good sign right?) I am due at the beginning of December! We are just praying that this one will decide to stay, we can't wait! Gavin says that if it is a boy it should be named "Spiky" and if it is a girl "Package". I think he has been getting too many ideas from his Dad.

Yeah, we finally got a visitor to the barren waste land! We got lucky enough to have Jenny and Suzy for a few days! Jenny was a trooper since she is 7 months pregnant and traveling with an almost 2 year old. Jenny, I can't tell you how nice it was to have you around, it just felt like you have always been here! It was not easy with the stairs and Suzy's sleeping schedule, but you made me so happy! I love Jenny to death! Thanks for coming!

Our buddy is so big, he turned 4 on the 15th! He has been so much fun and keeps saying the funniest things!
5 things I love about my boy:
1- His "cute" face, on demand he makes a squishy smile and giggles.
2- "I am going to wind away!" He says that every time the wind blows hard.
3- He always has to have every toy he owns wherever he goes!
4- He is so sensitive. Anytime I get after him about something, he will say that he hurt himself and want me to hug him.
5- He is such a cookie-face, I cannot stop kissing him!!
6- one more, i can't help it, his cuddles in the morning!
He got to share his birthday with a couple cousins and then have a party with his friends. He got extremely spoiled! We are so grateful to all the people that came to share his birthday with him, we had a blast! Happy birthday, Dubs!

While we were in Mexico I had to buy some shoes for our off-shore excursion in the jungle, so we managed to find a Walmart in Puerta Villarta. All the shoes there were in Mexican sizes and Mexicans do not have big feet apparently. I had to find the biggest in the men's department and there was only one pair even that big. They were so ugly, they were the joke of the trip, but I have to say they were pretty comfortable. I think even the Mexican guides were disgusted, maybe it is just cause my feet are huge!

There is so much to catch up on! We went on a cruise a few weeks ago with my family and had a blast, I love my family! Every moment we were laughing and being gross and stuffing our faces! It was the perfect amount of relaxing and fun. We went to the Mexican Riveria, Cabo, Puerta Villarta, and Mazatlan. We have to make this a new tradition, it was perfect!

Grandma Gaye sent Gavin a "Harry Potter" scarf (she made it!), glasses, and magic wand for Easter. This is the cutest thing because he will only wear the scarf for 2 minutes at a time I think because he is like me and a little claustrophobic, but he does it all day. So he will put it on, point his wand at me and say "Ghost, specto trollum!!" And then he will run around for a minute, then take it off and it starts all over. So precious!! I just love these glasses on him, I think he looks like the little boy on "Meet the Robinson's" Thank you Grandma Gaye!! We are all enjoying it!

After the crazy wedding weekend we decided to make it more crazy by going to Disneyland. Thanks to my siblings, Kay and Todd, we go to take Gavin for his first trip to Disneyland! It was a blast, Brent and I had not been for 20 years!! We had so much more fun and enjoyed it more because of Gavin, loved it of course! Kay and Kaitlin joined us, as well as our tour guide and best friend Kristi. She was so great and met us out there and helped us get on the best rides the fastest. We are so grateful to everyone who made this trip possible and fun! We have never got to do a trip like that as a family.

Brent just had bday this last week, he turned 32!! Ha ha he is older than me! We kind of started things the weekend before his birthday and went out to Glamis, CA to the dunes for some quading. Kevin's, Mike's, Todd's and Kay's family were all there. These dunes are amazing, they filmed Star wars: Return of the Jedi out here. We were able to bum off everyone and be comfortable in the RV's. We of course, ate tons of great food, listened to music and rocked the quads, it was so much fun. Brent ended up getting pretty beat up, he rolled 3 times. He had to spend th rest of the week recovering, like the old man he is! On his birthday we went to dinner and went to see a U2 concert... in 3D... at the imax, but it was awesome! Happy birthday babe! Every year with you gets better!

We have got to get better at this!! We had a fantastic holiday season! We started it off by flying to Utah mid December so that Gavin and I could help the Frampton’s out (Brent’s sister’s family). I spent a week with Gavin’s best buds, Parker and Ty. We stayed in beautiful Saratoga Springs while Robyn and Brandon took off for Tennesee. We had a blast all week with the boys, it was nothing but video games, crude humor, and movies, thanks guys! Brent flew in the weekend before I left and we got to have early Christmas with the fam. Thanks to Dad Davis for the use of the car and hosting a family dinner. And Mom Davis the following night wowed us yet again with her delicious food and beautiful new home. We loved being in Utah! We miss the mountains and the snow and just everything about it, it is not fair! We did not know how good we had it up there!

After a week home we took off to Sacramento, Cali. Driving up there was so pretty and so much fun, I loved to be stuck in a small space with my 2 favorite people! Gavin is at such a cute age and he did so well in the car for 14 hours. Brent and I talked and joked the whole way, it was so fun! Kay and Ted’s home was beyond cozy and beautiful. They were the ultimate hosts! Steve and Eva graced us with their presence and made the drive from San Fran, just to spend Christmas Eve with us and my fam, it was so good to see them. We are so glad they could make it. This Christmas was one of the best ever, Gavin got totally spoiled with everything Spiderman, I got an ipod, Brent got ski gear and we all got a trip to Disneyland from Kay and Todd, that was the BEST!! There was so much stuff, we opened presents for hours! The next day we drove to Tahoe, we rented a condo there. We stayed up late playing games and woke early to spend the day on the mountain. A few of us did not ski, but we rode the lift up and played in the snow. Gavin could not get enough, he just wanted to be in the snow constantly, it is definitely in his blood! I was a little concerned because he did not have snow pants, but he did not seem to mind. He, Emily, and Kaitlin spent a good 45 minutes riding Nick’s snowboard like a sled up and down the mountain. It was so fun! We got snowed on on the way home and it took forever, but I am just glad I did not ride with Todd and Cheryl, who did 3 full 360’s on the way home. We were so exhausted by the time we finally got home! We relaxed the next day, the only physical activity was devouring the low-boil Kay and Ted made, ridiculous! On the weekend we celebrated Lynsey’s b-day by spending the day in San Fran. We enjoyed chasing the trolley, eating the best Chinese food ever, and waiting 4 hours at Ghiradelli for ice cream. Gavin was such a trooper he pretty much walked all day and never complained, he is such a good kid! San Fran was awesome as always and we got a clear day, it was beautiful! Everyone else headed back to Sac Town to finish off the holidays and we stayed behind in San Fran to spend the night at Steve’s place. Camryn kept us up playing guitar hero and showing us all her Christmas gifts, she is the cutest! We got to spend the morning with Steve and Cam and then had to head out. We got some caffeine at a gas station and celebrated the new year about an hour away from home. The trip was one of the best and I think Gavin will remember it forever, we will never forget it, thank you everyone!!
